Germán García-Calderón Romeo > Director of Uranium Supplies

Industrial Engineering Degree, majors in Electric Power and Industrial Organization, from the ETSII of Madrid, and Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Management from the IESE. Languages: French, English and German.

He is Director of ENUSA Uranium Supplies, Chairman of the EURODIF Monitoring Committee and Representative for Spain in the EURATOM Supply Agency. His functions are procurement of uranium and enrichment services, amounting to €250 M/year, for the Spanish Nuclear Power Plants; he chairs the highest governing body of the European uranium enrichment enterprise EURODIF; and he advises EURATOM, representing Spain, on matters of uranium supply safety.

He has been Financial Director and Commercial Director in ENUSA, Managing Director of the European Fuel Group, member of the Directory and Financial Director in EURODIF (Paris) and Financial Administrator of the European Space Agency (Paris). He has also been Vice President of the International World Nuclear Fuel Market Association and member of the Boards of Directors of the mining company COMINAK in the Republic of Niger, the French-Spanish Chamber of Commerce, GENUSA, AIE ENUSA-ENWESA, ETSA, MOLYPHARMA and IONMED.
