Mining Engineer. Other studies have included a post-grad in the General Management Program (IESE, University of Navarra) and 90s Manager Program (TENEO).

He has spent his professional career in ENUSA, which he joined in 1978 as mine project engineer. He has held several posts and taken on different responsibilities, including Director of the Badajoz Mining Center, Deputy Director of the Mining Division and Director of the Salamanca Mining Exploitation Project where he directed the viability study and basic and detailed engineering of the Quercus Uranium Concentrate Factory, Director of the Ciudad Rodrigo Mining Center where he was head of the new factory’s construction and startup project and manager of the Production Center (Mine Fe and Elefante plant) and advanced ceramics factory of the subsidiary SHS Cerámicas, Director of Organization and Quality and Director of Finance and Information Systems. Since June 2013, he is responsible for the Financial and Industrial Investments Management and for the Environmental Business Area of ENUSA. Also he is a member of the Board of EMGRISA, member of the Board of REMESA, member of the Board of CETRANSA, member of the Board of ETSA and member of Committee of management of UTE RSU in the Zone I of Castellón.

He has been Vice President of the Spanish Association for Quality (AEC) and member of the Advisory Committee for the Environment and Quality Master’s Degrees of the School of Industrial Organization (EOI).

He is currently Vicedean of the Central Spain Mining Engineers Association and VicePresident of the National Association of Mining Engineers.
