Enusa Industrias Avanzadas, S.A. has developed an Environmental Radiation Monitoring Program P.V.R.A.), the purpose of which is to assess the environmental radiological impact that the installations may have caused. For this program, all the parameters required to determine the variations of the site’s background radiation are analyzed. The P.V.R.A. is defined on a yearly basis and must be approved by the Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear. It is developed on one hand in the factory at Juzbado and also in the former mining installations of La Haba (Badajoz) and Saelices el Chico (Ciudad Rodrigo).
