Environmental Commitment

Minimizing the impact on the environment has been one of our primary objectives since the very beginning of our activities. In Enusa we are aware that, given the special characteristics of our production, it is important to sustain a high level of commitment to society through a positive, active attitude towards conservation of the enviroment. In this field of action, it should be said that nuclear energy contributes to sustainable development because it prevents the emission of millions of tons of CO2 to the atmosphere.

For its environmental business, Enusa has two AENOR certifications of the Quality Management System: Standard ISO 14.001 and Standard ISO 9.001.
