Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Management

The process comprises two phases. In the first phase, the municipal solid wastes are subject to a biodrying process that degrades the organic matter that they contain and reduces their weight; in this way, the resulting materials can be treated, used or handled under more efficient, healthier conditions. In the second phase, the fraction obtained after the biological process, which has less volume, is classified to recover the recyclable materials that it may contain.

In 2010, we started operating a waste treatment plant in Cervera de Maestre (Castellón) that provides coverage to Castellón Zone 1. We operate this plant in collaboration with FOBESA Valorización de Residuos, S.L. and A2A AMBIENTE, S.P.A. It is the most advanced biotechnological plant in Spain.
