The president of the ENS, Emilio M\u00ednguez; the mayor of Santander, Gema Igual; the vice president of Cantabria, Pablo Zuloaga; the president of ENUSA, Jos\u00e9 Vicente Berlanga; and the president of the Congress Organizing Committee and director of Business Development of ENUSA, Roberto Gonz\u00e1lez, dedicated a few words of welcome to the people who were gathered there in which the importance of this event and the professional quality of the participants, among whom are electrical companies, nuclear power plants, fuel suppliers, technologists, universities and reference laboratories.<\/p>\n<p>Already this morning the Plenary Session was held in which the future of the nuclear industry was discussed from the perspective of its sustainability and future options.
