El Consejo de Seguridad Nuclear (CSN) ha dado luz verde a la renovación de las autorizaciones de explotación y fabricación de la fábrica de elementos combustible que ENUSA tiene en Juzbado, que expiraban en julio de 2016, por otros diez años más.
En el pleno celebrado este miércoles se ha apreciado favorablemente la renovación de autorización de explotación y fabricación, que fue solicitada por ENUSA, al Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Turismo y que este remitió al CSN el 29 de julio de 2015.
El CSN ha evaluado la valoración de los aspectos asociados a la Revisión Periódica de la Seguridad (RPS), el estado de cumplimiento de las diferentes condiciones e Instrucciones Técnicas Complementarias (ITC) establecidas a la fábrica al concederle las autorizaciones en vigor y las ITC e Instrucciones Técnicas (IT) que se han emitido desde la concesión. Asimismo, el CSN ha evaluado los resultados del Sistema de Supervisión y Seguimiento de la fábrica.
Además de la autorización de explotación, el Pleno del CSN ha informado también de manera favorable la renovación de la autorización de protección física y la revisión del plan de protección física de Juzbado.[:en]The Nuclear Safety Council (CSN) has given the go-ahead to renewal of the operating and manufacturing permits of ENUSA’s fuel assembly factory in Juzbado, which expire in July 2016, for another ten years.
In the plenary session held on Wednesday, the CSN issued a favorable decision for renewal of the operating and manufacturing permit, which was requested by ENUSA in an application to the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, which the latter in turn submitted to the CSN on July 29, 2015.
The CSN has evaluated the assessment of aspects associated with the Periodic Safety Review (PSR) and with the status of compliance by the factory with the different conditions and Complementary Technical Instructions (ITC) implemented on granting it the current permits and the ITC and Technical Instructions (IT) that have been issued since the permit was granted. The CSN has also evaluated the results of the factory’s Supervision and Follow-up System.
In addition to the operating permit, the CSN Plenary Session has also issued a favorable report on renewal of the physical protection permit and revision of the Juzbado physical protection plan.
