Madrid, October 5, 2020. José Vicente Berlanga, president of the ENUSA Group—a public business group present in the nuclear, logistics and environmental sectors—and Elvira Carles Brescolí, director of the Business and Climate Foundation (FEC), signed a few weeks ago an agreement by which the Spanish state group becomes a Gold member of this Foundation, created in 2008 and a sustainable reference for companies in our country in the face of climate change.

For the ENUSA Group, the commitment to the environment and the management of environmental impact is part of its corporate business and is one of the axes of its sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility policy, a strategy that is deployed in the Sustainable Development Goals ( SDG). Joining the FEC will allow you, among other benefits, to participate in an influential platform in the formulation of environmental policies, as well as to belong to a large group of companies with a common interest in the fight against Climate Change, and to make This is an asset on their balance sheet. They exchange experiences and best practices through the different meetings that are organized.

This incorporation will allow the ENUSA Group to be more present in the field of the fight against climate change and thus reinforce its corporate and business commitment to the environment. Along with this you will have direct and immediate access to news, legislative regulations, agenda and all types of relevant information. Finally, you will also be able to enjoy more technical services such as the calculation of the emissions generated by your activity and its subsequent compensation by carrying out projects or purchasing credits on the stock market.

For José Vte. Berlanga, president of the ENUSA Group, "this collaboration represents another step in our commitment to the climate and the environment, in line with the business and corporate responsibility objectives that we have set for ourselves." In this sense, he has also highlighted that "for our Group, joining the Business and Climate Foundation represents an important step when it comes to exchanging experiences and, above all, being able to interact with actors aligned in this common objective."

For Elvira Carles, Director of the Business and Climate Foundation, “having Grupo ENUSA is a source of pride, but also a responsibility since it is the Spanish leader in its specialty; a sector of general services to companies where sustainability is increasingly important and more taken into account by the end client”, Carles added that “our objective now is to help them advance their environmental agenda.”
